The Pistons, meanwhile, staved off elimination and forced a Game 6 against the Knicks by beating New York Tuesday night. The winner of that series will face the Celtics in the second round. Elsewhere, the Warriors are up 3-1 in the series against the Houston Rockets and the Minnesota Timberwolves lead the Los Angeles Lakers 3-1.

After a thrilling four quarters of regulation, the game needed five more minutes to be decided. Milwaukee jumped out to an early lead in overtime thanks to a scorching hot performance from Gary Trent Jr., but the Pacers crawled back to stay in the game.
