Brent Rooker is hitting back after a fan criticized him for feeding his daughter on live TV. The Athletics player responded to a post on X after a fan called him out for giving his 11-month-old daughter, Blake Eloise, a bottle live on camera during the 2025 Home Run Derby on Monday, July 14.

The fabled torpedo bats were again on center stage at Monday night’s Home Run Derby, as the Mariners' Cal Raleigh took home the title.

MLB's biggest fireworks show of the summer takes place a little more than a week after July 4. The 2025 T-Mobile Home Run Derby is tonight. Eight of the best sluggers in baseball will be swinging for the fences inside Truist Park in Atlanta.

Oneil Cruz enters the Derby with just 16 home runs on the season, but possesses the best raw power in all of baseball with the fastest bat speed and exit velocities that regular stretch towards 120 mph. He could take over this competition if he finds a groove.

In the final between Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh and Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Junior Caminero, the latter slugger hit what appeared to be his sixth homer of the timed portion — until someone with a glove jumped and hauled the ball in. It was unclear in the moment if the ball would have been a homer, but it clearly had potential.

Mariners’ Cal Raleigh, Monday’s eventual winner of the Derby, only made it out of the first round by less than an inch. He and Rooker were tied for fourth with 17 home runs, but Raleigh advanced because his longest home run went further than Rooker’s.
