The Michael Madigan jury has ended its third day of deliberations without a verdict in Illinois’ highest-stakes public corruption trial in years.

Since early October, 12 jurors and four alternates have heard testimony from almost 60 witnesses, listened to and watched close to 150 wiretapped calls and secretly recorded videos, and heard hours of arguments from prosecutors and defense attorneys in the landmark federal corruption trial involving Madigan and political confidante Michael McClain.
