Charles Leclerc stunned favourites McLaren by seizing pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday as Ferrari teammate Lewis Hamilton described himself as useless and suggested he should be replaced.

Though the morning’s rain did not reappear, some forecasts suggested it might, as the Hungarian GP started on Aug 3, for a significant chunk of the event it seemed that Charles Leclerc and Ferrari might be about to rain on McLaren’s parade.
