Dutch police nab suspects linked to Saturday’s heist at the Drents Museum, where thieves stole the 2,500-year-old Helmet of Coțofenești, an object treasured by Romanians.

Police in the Netherlands have arrested three people linked to a heist that saw thieves blow open a museum door with explosives before stealing four priceless ancient artifacts.

The police said they had yet to recover the golden helmet of Cotofenesti, a prized artifact from Romania, and other artifacts stolen from the Drents Museum in the Netherlands over the weekend.

The blast took place in the middle of the night, allowing the burglars to abscond with four valuable objects connected to Romania's cultural heritage
