Blake Snell is set to return to the Los Angeles Dodgers' rotation vs. the Rays, offering a boost amid their recent pitching struggles.

The Dodgers activated the star left-hander on Saturday after he missed four months with a left shoulder injury. Snell took the mound against the Rays, his former team, on Saturday. He tossed five innings, giving up five hits and three earned runs, including two long balls off the bat of Yandy Diaz, although he struck out eight without a walk.

The left-hander allows two short-porch home runs to Yandy Diaz in his first start since April 2 as the Dodgers manage just six hits in a 4-0 loss in Tampa.
