Blake Lively suffered a small setback in court after a judge denied her effort to obtain communications sent by Justin Baldoni’s legal team to content creators or the press about her, Us Weekly can confirm.

Lively sought to subpoena Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman for information about his purported agreements with other celebrity clients.

Blake Lively’s lawyers filed a motion Monday for sanctions against Bryan Freedman, the lead counsel for Justin Baldoni, arguing that he has engaged in a pre-trial “press tour” to impugn Lively’s character.
