Amazon has dropped the price of the new 13-inch Apple iPad Pro (M4) with 256GB of storage to $1,099, shaving $200 off its $1,299 list price. That’s a rare discount for a device this new, and given Apple’s track record, you probably won’t see much better until the holidays.

For a lot of people, the iPad Air is Apple’s goldilocks tablet. It’s more powerful and available in a larger size than the entry-level iPad, but a lot less expensive than the iPad Pro, which can be overkill for some.
