Austin police have identified the 20-year-old victim of a homicide in southeast Austin late Wednesday night. It happened at 10:35 p.m. October 16 at 2121 Burton Drive, which is less than a quarter mile away from where a double homicide occurred earlier this week.
1 dead in southeast Austin apartment homicide, APD says
According to the APD, officers responded around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to the Emerson Apartments, located on the 2100 block of Burton Dr. Once on scene, police found a 20-year-old man suffering from a head injury on the road near the apartment complex.
