A woman was killed at a railroad crossing when a commuter rail train crashed into her car in Abington on Wednesday, officials say.

WCVB's Sky5 helicopter reported there appeared to be a sheet covering a victim next to a badly damaged SUV near the tracks.

Transit Police's initial investigation suggests that a woman drove an SUV onto the train tracks despite the safety gates being down and the warning system being fully engaged.
