Iranian media report new Israeli attacks on the west of the country on Monday, after Iranian strikes broke through Israel's iron Dome defences overnight.

Iranian news media and residents of Tehran say the damage from the latest Israeli strikes appears to be significant, with several apartment buildings badly damaged. Residents say they are hearing ambulance sirens and fire trucks racing to the scenes and rescue workers are working to find casualties in the rubble.

Pakistan has closed all its border crossings with neighbouring Iran for an indefinite period, provincial officials said on Monday (Jun 16), as Israel and Iran trade intense st
