MTA Announces Next Round of Subway Stations Re-NEW
WEBApr 23, 2024 · The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced that New York City Transit (NYCT) will complete upgrades, repairs, and deep cleanings at 13 additional subway stations in the second quarter of 2024 across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.

WEBThe MTA will create an extension of Metro-North Railroad‘s New Haven Line to reach Penn Station. This will create four new accessible stations, improve existing tracks and bridges, and will cut travel times from the Bronx to Manhattan by as much as 50 minutes.
